Last Thursday and Friday I participated in a design charette sponsored by the Workforce Housing Coalition of the Greater Seacoast  The expedited design effort explored the feasibility of developing mixed use artist live/work affordable, market rate residential, and market rate office space on an undeveloped site on McDonough Street in Portsmouth. Taking part in the charette was rewarding and provided an opportunity to meet some new allied professionals, and reconnect with others. All in all it was a great experience, though by Friday afternoon I was exhausted.
