Exeter Subaru | Stratham, NH

Ironwood Design Group worked directly with the owner of Exeter Subaru as the company planned to expand and modernize its automobile sales and service facility on Route 108 in Stratham. The landscape design balanced the needs of the dealership for more inventory parking, circulation, customer wayfinding, employee services, and site maintenance with the town’s Gateway District regulations. Walkways with pedestrian-scale lighting, seating areas, lush plantings and large shade trees create a welcoming landscape to customers. The site’s stormwater is managed with pervious pavement, rain gardens, and bioretention treeways, and the lighting is LED to reduce the dealership’s ecological footprint.
