Garden of Peace

Ironwood Design Group staff worked with the Garden of Peace Board of Directors to design this contemplative garden that commemorates the victims of murder. A dry streambed contains smooth river stones engraved with the names of victims of homicide, commencing at a circular black granite stone that symbolizes the enormous weight of sadness and grief. The streambed meanders through the garden and culminates with a trickle of water into a pool out of which rises a skyward sculpture.
