Ironwood designed and managed the site work bidding and construction for a new home overlooking Great Bay in New Hampshire’s Seacoast region. Ironwood coordinated the work of the many team members for lighting, irrigation, paving and wall construction, fencing and gates, large-scaled berm design and construction, planting, grading, and a swimming pool. This included the precise sizing, layout and design for a complex system of limestone entry steps, landing, large entry planter with cladding as well as pool coping to be quarried and cut to exact dimensions in Spain. Ironwood worked directly with the clients to hand select specimen plants, lighting fixtures, paving and other materials. Large boulders from the client’s previous residence were selected, moved and installed at the new location all under the supervision of Ironwood.
