India Point Park

Ironwood was hired as a part of a consultant team to plan improvements to the City of Providence’s largest park. Located at Fox Point, India Point Park lies at the confluence of the Seekonk and Providence Rivers. Updates to the park’s ship-themed playground included a new slide element and rigging climbing structure. Park improvements also included swing benches, accessible picnic tables and litter receptacles alongside a paved promenade that featured recycled cobblestones, shade trees, and paving accents.
