Berlin River Walk ~ Berlin, NH
Ironwood collaborated with a consultant team of engineers to design a new multiuse path along the Androscoggin River on Main Street in Berlin, NH spanning approximately 4,000 linear feet on city-owned property.
The path was designed to be universally accessibility, providing a dedicated means for everyone to enjoy the riverfront and its ecosystem. The path affords active and passive enjoyment of the river, and enhances public access for community events and festivals hosted on the riverfront.
The final design includes many user amenities (benches, litter receptacles, bicycle racks), lighting, and public art.
